Bubble Up Pizza

Today I'm sharing a quick and easy meal.

Bubble Up Pizza

This is one of Alex's favorite childhood meals.

It's quick and easy and tastes like a little homemade pizza.

You Need
2 Packages of Biscuits
Pizza Sauce
Pepperoni (Cut up)
Sausage (Browned)
Shredded Cheese

1. Tear up the biscuits and put them in the bottom of a clay pan or deep pan.

2. Add your toppings.
I added pepperoni to my side and Alex added pepperoni and sausage to his side.

3. Add some sauce and mix the ingredients together.

4. Add your favorite cheese.
 Mix together

 5. Bake for about 50 minutes

6. Enjoy!

Friday Favorites: No More Classes, Some Fun Necklaces, Retired NFL Player

Hey Ladies!
Happy Happy, Friday!
I'm so glad to be back in the blog world!

As always, I'm linking up with ErikaNarci and Andrea
We're sharing our favorites from the week.
Grab their graphic and linkup with your favorites from the week, too.

No More Classes

I disappeared off of blog land for a little over a month.
Life just got so busy.
I love love love my job, but it is SO time consuming.
On top of being gone from home for about 10 hours each day, I have grading and planning to do at night.
Then, add in a little side business and four graduate classes, and I refuse to give up working out or running, so that leaves not much time left.

I'm happy to report that my four classes are now OVER!
I submitted the last one earlier this week, and I am DONE!
I've said this before, but I really mean it this time.
I'm taking a break from graduate classes and other education courses for a long time.
I've dabbled in most of the latest and greatest buzz word topics, so I need time to try things out myself and experiment in the classroom before I get any new ideas!

James Harrison Retires, Again!

I wasn't expecting this kind of news when my dad said "Did you get my email?"
It had been a busy day at work with an after school meeting, so I actually hadn't checked my email all day.
He proceeded to say Harrison retired, and I'm sure my jaw nearly hit the floor.
Of course I said "No way" "You're lying" "That's a joke"

Nope.
Harrison has retired for good.

If I had to pick a favorite NFL player, hands down, it would be him!
I love his determination, dedication and intensity!
What I didn't love was his choice to play for the Patriots, so that stint is over, and I'm glad about that!
I am a bit sad that I never got to see him play in person.
I surprised my dad and brother with Deebo sweatshirts and Steelers tickets inside the pocket for Christmas.
If you're a Steelers' follower, then you know that the Steelers released Harrison a couple days before Christmas.
I'm not going to say they ruined my Christmas, but I was slightly devastated that the present I worked on for months was now useless.

Even though we didn't get to see Harrison, I will always applaud him and hope for the best for this Ohio boy!

Fun Necklaces

I ordered some fun necklaces last week.
They came in this week, but I haven't had a chance to try them out.
More on that next week.

State Testing is OVER for LA

This would have been a favorite from last week, but we are DONE with our state testing for language arts!
I'm so proud of how hard my students worked.
It's not easy or fun, but they gave it their all.

I can't believe we only have 5 weeks of school left, but the stress of the testing is aside and we are working on some fun books and activities now!

New Bookshelves

I walked in the door yesterday morning about losing it all.
I had stopped at Walmart and got some containers to organize some of my literature circle books.
It was snowing-yes, you heard that right- snowing in April in Ohio!

I was about 5 minutes later that normal, so the janitor was standing out by the front doors.
I thought she must be done with her office cleaning, but then she offered to follow me and open my classroom door.
I really thought she was just being nice because I looked like everything might fall out of my hands at any minute.

When she opened the door, she said there was a surprise...

(I wish you could see my new shelves, but my computer isn't recognizing my phone, so I guess I will save them for next week, too.)

Look at those new bookshelves that the head maintenance man made for me!
I'd been looking at shelving for the ledge beneath my window, but they all were so expensive.
One of my co-workers did a little secret work for me, and now I have these beautiful new shelves!
I might just end up being a Black Bear forever!
They take such good care of me!

It's Friday.
We aren't predicted to have anymore snow.
It's predicted to be 60 all next week.
We're having a taco luncheon for lunch.
How much better can the day get?!
Have a great one!

Tuesday Talk: Hangers

Hey ladies!
I took an unexpected blog break.
Life was getting super busy and something had to fall off my plate, so without even knowing it the blog fell by the wayside.
I'm back today and was so excited to see that it was Tuesday Talk because I need your help!

The third Tuesday of every month Ashley and Erika do a little Tuesday Talk.

You can blog about anything that's on your mind!

Today hangers are on my mind.
Every time I go to hang up clothes in our basement I remember how much I love and hate hangers!

If my closet was big enough I would hang every single piece of clothing.
Every little thing would have it's place, and I could simply gaze around my closet and pick out what I wanted.
Unfortunately, I'm not living that life right now.
Actually my closet is smaller now that I'm 27 than it was when I was 7.
What's wrong with that scenario?!
I hope one day that scenario will change, but for now I'm stuck with it.

At the same time that I wish everything was hanging on hangers, I cannot stand how intertwined those things get.

Just looking at that basket of hangers has me breathing deep!
I cannot stand tangled hangers!
You go to grab one and it won't even come out.

So I need ideas.
Right now I have some stacked in an organization bin.
I used to hang them on our indoor close line, but there are too many hangers and they weigh down the line.
How do you guys keep hangers?
What will help me keep my sanity and be able to easily grab one hanger at a time?
