Tammy's Stuffed Peppers

At my bridal shower, everyone brought a recipe.
This is a favorite of one of my best friend's mom

Items Needed:
Green Peppers
1 lb. Ground Beef
1/3 C. Chopped Onion
1/4 C. Uncooked Rice
1 tsp. Worcestershire Sauce
1 16 oz. Tomato Sauce
1/2 tsp. Salt
Dash Pepper
1/2 C. Water
1 C. Shredded Cheddar Cheese

Clean out the peppers and cut in half.
Cook the peppers in boiling salt water for 5 minutes.

Brown the ground beef with onion.
Drain the grease.
Mix the beef mixture with salt, pepper, rice, 1/2 C. water and Worcestershire sauce.
Cover.
Simmer 15 minutes
Stir in cheese.

 Stuff Peppers

I had some leftover mixture, so I just topped off the peppers.
Now you can't even tell there are peppers underneath.
Bake @ 350 20-25 minutes!
This is a great meal for summer, fall or winter!
