Show and Tell: Ham Casserole

Today is the last Show and Tell Tuesday of the year.
I'm linking up with Andrea to share my favorite Christmas recipe/tradition.

Breakfast Casserole with Ham

This is a super easy recipe, so make it the night before and enjoy on Christmas morning.

Get one loaf of a thicker bread.
You can use white bread, wheat, potato.
We like to use a Pepperidge Farm bread.

Cut up about 8 slices of that in smaller chunks.
Place in a 9x13 in. pan

Pour 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese on top.
Put half of the diced ham on top of that.
Repeat those two steps with the rest of the cheese and diced ham.

In a separate bowl whisk together 6 eggs.
Add in 2 1/4 cups of milk.
Pour egg/milk mixture on top of bread, cheese and ham.

Let sit overnight.

Mix together 1 Cup cream of mushroom soup and 1/2 can milk.
Pour soup/milk mixture on top of casserole.

Bake uncovered at 350 for 1.5 hours
We have this casserole every year on Christmas morning.
I like the ham, while everyone else likes sausage, so my mom makes both, and we all win!
Come back on Thursday for more Christmas recipes!
